First Week of Winter

What was meant to be a soft and steady launch quickly turned into a whirlwind of unexpected support and exciting moments, things we honestly never imagined, even in our wildest dreams.

As I sit here writing this, I'm filled with gratitude and still a little disbelief. The week began with a surprise message from a media company wanting to feature us. By the very next day, the article was live for the world to see.

The writer closed with a line that truly moved us and captured exactly what we’re trying to build:

“With heart, heritage, and a whole lot of hustle, Ledson Vineyards is one to watch.”

Thank you, Glam Adelaide and Mikyla, for your beautiful words.

As if that wasn't enough, McLaren Vale has just been graced with over 20mm of rain, the first decent drop in what feels like forever.

What a week.

And now, with fresh energy and big plans ahead, I’m off to sit with a glass of wine in hand and work on the label design for our next wine…something we’re pretty excited about.

Thank you for being here.

First Post

So, here’s to the journey - the first pour, the first post, and all the moments yet to come.

Well, here we are - standing on the edge of pressing that ‘on’ button, hoping we never have to press ‘off.’ Truth be told, we actually pressed ‘on’ quite a while ago. The wine is made, the labels have been drawn and we’ve hand-labelled our very first 20 cases.

Our website has been quietly live for a few weeks now, and we’ve already been fortunate enough to connect with some wonderful people. But, if you peek at our social media pages, you’ll find them silent - untouched, waiting. And honestly, it feels like such a huge leap to share this dream, this life we’ve envisioned for so long, with the world in a first post.

For now, I’m pushing past the intense swirl of imposter syndrome and hopefully carving out a small, humble space for our wine to sit alongside the many incredible makers in this amazing industry I was lucky enough to be born into.

So, here’s to the journey - the first pour, the first post, and all the moments yet to come.

Thank you for being here.
